WHAT IS A TAKATA AIRBAG RECALL?

In 2015 and 2016, Takata Corporation advised the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) that a significant number of its driver and passenger airbag inflators are defective. Certain FCA US LLC vehicles have been affected. Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram dealers will replace defective and recalled airbags free of charge.
