Remote Diagnostic Assistant (RDA) is an optional feature available through subscription on select vehicle models. When activated, you can connect with an RDA Technical Specialist in real-time for assistance with basic diagnostics.

An RDA specialist will guide you through basic diagnostics or arrange a service visit with a dealership if more complex diagnostics or component replacement is needed. We aim to provide proactive support through an interactive session to swiftly identify vehicle problems during a live consultation.

Currently, the 2025 Ram 1500 with an active Connected Services subscription is eligible for Remote Diagnostic Assistance.

At your scheduled appointment time, an RDA Technical Specialist will call you at the phone number provided. Please be present in your vehicle at the time of your scheduled session and allow for 15-20 minutes of diagnostic time. Be sure you are parked in a safe location with a clear signal, so we can easily connect to your vehicle.

The RDA Technical Specialist will make two more attempts to call you within 2-3 minutes at the phone number provided. If the Technical Specialist is unable to connect, the calls will be documented, and they will move to the next appointment. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, please utilize the Modify Appointment link in your Mopar.com Dashboard.

The goal is to save you time and inconvenience by offering diagnostic and repair solutions without having to bring the vehicle in for service. The RDA Technical Specialist will assist with the vehicle concern and determine the best course of action for resolution. If more complex diagnostics, physical repair, or component replacement is needed, the representative will inform you that you may need to schedule your vehicle for an appointment with your preferred dealer.

Upon concluding this session, you should have received a resolution or alternative solution to address your vehicle concern. To enhance our commitment to your satisfaction and ensure exceptional experiences, we kindly request your feedback. Following the completion of this session, you will be invited to participate in a survey. To schedule a service appointment online, start by selecting a dealer that supports online service scheduling (OSS) and click the "Book Now" button

Some dealers do not support OSS. If you have selected a dealer that doesn't support OSS, you will need to call the dealer directly to make a service appointment or select a different dealer.

Using the Find a Dealer search, look for dealers with the "Online Scheduling Available" label.

Not all dealers participate in the online service scheduling program. Next time you call to make an appointment, let your dealer know you're interested in scheduling service online in the future.

Navigate to Your Garage and select Add a Vehicle. If you already have your vehicle added without a VIN you will need to remove your vehicle and add it again with your VIN.
